After many texts from confused clients who have no idea what to do about waxing at home, I thought Id better address the issue and let me say... with all the products out there on the market for home waxing even I was confused!!!

Let's talk about the brand Waxaway, there are so many other brands but we'll keep it simple for now.

LEG WAXING - STRIP WAX!!!

The easiest way to wax your legs from home with the least amount of mess is to use Strip wax that comes in a cartridge with a roller and remove it with wax strips.

You can heat the cartridge up in a wax warmer or in the microwave and then after checking the temp, roll it down your leg, in the same direction as your hair growth, place the strip over the wax, pressing down firmly then remove in the opposite direction to your hair growth.

Waxaway has both the wax in cartridges and wax strips, might be sold separately.

BIKINI WAXING, UNDERARMS AND FACE WAXING- SENSITIVE WAX!!!

I definitely don’t recommended attempting a Brazilian wax on yourself 😱😱😱 however, a regular to high bikini wax should be possible from home!

Waxaway have what they call hard wax which is similar to my salon hot wax, it is heated in a wax heater, temp test it, then apply in a chewing gum kind of consistency to the area with the hair growth, let set, then remove against hair growth, same for your underarms and facial waxing (lip, sides, chin).

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WAX YOUR OWN EYEBROWS!!!

You can also use the strips which already have wax on them for sensitive areas, warm them in your hands slightly then place on area and remove as above, I’ve never had much success with these though...
