Asian Eyebrow Styling Techniques.

There are two main types of brow hair growth patterns. Asian and European.

Sometimes they cross over and you can have a mixture of both brow growth patterns in the one eyebrow. There is a specific way to shape and style an Asian brow.

Sadly many beauty and brow technicians aren't trained in the correct way to shape an Asian brow and so they try to shape it the same way they would a European brow pattern which ends in disaster!

The majority of the brow grows downwards in the Asian brow where as the European brow grows upward and across. To successfully shape an Asian brow you must first take the time to assess the hair growth pattern. Then with high quality brow scissors trim them first starting at the ends of the brow and working your way towards the nose from the underneath the brow. See photo!

Getting Shape

The Asian brow gets its shape from trimming the brow hair that has grown downwards and creating shape that way. Then after you have created the desired shape by carefully trimming it is now safe to wax or tweeze away any unwanted hair growth on the top and bottom of the brow keeping the shape you've created with the trimming.

Easy when you know how and this process creates a low maintenance beautifully styled brow!
